In 1798, Major Dubied introduced the world's first commercially produced verte absinthe. However, few people know that in addition to this verte absinthe, an item with the label Eau de Mère often appeared in his books. Thanks to the later discovery of the recipe of this drink, we discover that it was a blanche version of their absinthe, which was surprisingly significantly different from the original verte sibling. Unfortunately, no specimen of the mysterious blanche named Eau de Mère has survived to this day.So that this exceptional drink does not fall into oblivion, we decided to join forces with the uncrowned king of Swiss blanche absinthe Claud-Alain Bugnon to reproduce this absinthe together and breathe new life into the recipe. This created a unique replica of vintage blanche. absinthe referring to early pre-ban blanche absinthes. The bottle was produced in two copies: one produced in the Czech Republic under the brand Prince d'Absinthe and the other produced in Switzerland by the Artemisia distillery under the baton of Claude Alain Bugnon.
